~ stories on cassette tapes / cd's *5 stars Kids and parents both enjoy listening to recorded stories. They are usually not very expensive to buy, or they can always be made by teachers or students. If you let students take them home, you just might want to consider asking families whether or not they have a tape player or cd player at home. You might be able to let a student borrow one of those, as well. ~Jess Oakley
I have ordered a wide variety of bilingual children's books. These help newcomers to this country to feel more comfortable, enhances the literacy of their first language and introduces them to the English version of many commonly known stories. A definite must have for the ESL classroom. -- Nancy Grundhoffer
